I am very interested in traveling and learning languages! I am originally from Texas and moved to Tennessee. My family is originally from Colombia, South America. Therefore, I speak English and Spanish. I have been to Colombia many times and it is one of my favorite places in the world. I taught English in Japan for almost a year at elementary schools and a junior high school. I am traveled all over Asia. Now, I am a dentist and want to help communities all over the world. I am living near Tokyo, Japan!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and hopefully make good friends from all over the world. I also want to experience local life and culture unlike a tourist. This is important for keeping an open mind for globalization and learning new things.

Interests

My favorite sport is soccer. I love soccer! I also enjoy trying food from all over the world. I particularly like Mexican food and Thai food. I also try to learn a little bit of many languages, particularly greetings. I collect textbooks from many languages around the world. I hope to be able to communicate in many languages. I also enjoy making origami, playing the viola in the orchestra, and volunteering at schools.
