About Me

I am Italian by nationality: I love food, wine, and beauty in all its forms.

I am a manager by my job: strong will, keen sense of direction and urgency... but also nice, big house to be a good host :-)

I am an expatriate by situation: I lived in London, Paris, Istanbul, Rome, Moscow and finally Vienna. I know the world, and I like to enjoy it...

I am a traveller by nature: I seek new places and situations, I speak new languages as much as I can, I breath new winds every time the call for exploration reaches me... unfortunately, quite too often.

I am a photographer by hobby: to frame a piece of immortality within my images, and to bring with me the beauty of some moments of this life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here basically because I got a very big company apartment in one of the nicest areas of the city, but it's sometimes a bit too big and lonely for me alone, and I think this is a good way to combine offering a nice chance to curious travellers, AND to have someone around who can become a new friend.

Interests

Travelling, photography, cooking... and eating as well, either what I cook myself, either in the nicest restaurants in town.

Music, Movies, and Books

Passionate reader, I like almost all genders.
As regards music, I'm a musician myself, and you will find my house filled with guiters, a piano and many other smaller instruments.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled across Turjey on a baloon. I climbed an active volcano and saw the eruption (and I'm back to tell the story!). I swam from an island of Greece to another between see turtles as big as I am.
... I think that eating three pizzas one after the other in Neaples doesn't qualify for this question, isn't it?

Teach, Learn, Share

World doesn't change with your opinions, but with your actions. And travelling is a good way to start acting, because it widens your views.
And hosting you, you widen mine as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Nice plans, nice suggestions, nice home-made dinners, interesting chats - and of course a tip-top couch!

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, France, Italy, United Kingdom
