I am an Australian here on exchange. I really want to explore The States from a local's perspective. I want to immerse myself. Find the local only spots in the big cities and explore small towns that no-one wants to go to.

I can't really say that I am an extrovert or an introvert. Everything depends on the situation. In most situations, I am very calm and relaxed and in others I can be quite outgoing. Same goes for my interests. I love being out in nature (I could perpetually be at the beach), but I also love walking around big cities. I like to be healthy and take care of myself but I also love binge drinking.

I think that it's very important to respect and understand others perspectives. And, to also be malleable in your beliefs. There is nothing worse than having extended views and expecting everyone to adopt your philosophy but not be willing to change yourself.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I don't want to go to a city and stay in a hostel and see the main sites without actually getting a real feel for the city. Couchsurfing gives the opportunity to see the city from a local's perspective.

I want my life to be a collection of stories. Whenever I am in a really bad situation, I smile and think of how good the story is going to be.
