About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Become a better person
ABOUT ME
I am (like most people) many things: A shy recluse, an outgoing charmeur, a delightfully funny or painfully unfunny guy (that seems to depend on many things), a nerd, a dreamer, a madman or a voice of reason. I don't pick fights and try to see the good in everybody. I can be the most pleasant and polite guy or the weirdest weirdo, all depending on circumstances I realize that this description is not very helpful.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to act in a way that a neutral observer would approve (delightfully original thought, I know). Try to understand people before condemning them.
Life is about many things, more than I can list, more than I will ever know about. I'll keep you posted if I have any amazing epiphanies regarding that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My studies don't leave me much time to travel, but I love meeting strange new people and wish to meet and help as many as may come to Heidelberg.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None within the couchsurfing.org project, but I once received hospitality from a total stranger while looking for a room in Heidelberg and was later able to return the favor to a bunch of people who came for a capoeira workshop.
Interests
Science (obviously), Capoeira, reading , dancing (don' matter if as a Ballet in a theatre or as wild rhythmic flailing on some dimly lit dance floor)
- dancing
- ballet dancing

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Camper van Beethoven, Richard Cheese, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The White Stripes, Manu Chao, to give a (rather random) pick. I'm one of those people with no discernible taste in music beyond "I like it if it's good, and it's good if I like it."
Books: George Orwell, Arno Schmidt, Robert Gernhardt, Stanislaw Lem, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Pursuit of Unhappiness, Terry Pratchett, Shakespeare's tragedies, all sorts of poetry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A pregnant woman (third trimester) playing capoeira.
