Overview
About Me
Hi, I am a traveling winemaker. Basically, I live a seasonally nomadic life with the hopes of one day settling down. I follow the wine growing season around the world honing my craft along the way. I am deeply passionate about social justice and indigenous agriculture and allow these interests to guide my journey. This is how I came to also be a Mezcal Sommelier. Agave has a significant and sacred plant within many indigenous communities in Mexico. It's a plant alongside grapes that seem to have a growing importance in my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am embarking on an unknown adventure with limited funds. The cost of living especially housing, traveling or staying in one spot, has been one of the most financially straining aspects of my young adult life. I am hoping that couch surfing will help me to "kill two birds with one stone" by releasing one of my highest costs while also allowing me to meet and live with locals. While I love traveling, being a tourist is of little interest to me. Living with people established within a community is of significant value to me as I love to be immersed in the place I am living.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not much of a favorites person but for the purpose of getting to know me better I will list somethings
My whole family is in the film industry apart from me so I have generally been around some intense film conversations my whole life. I think because of this I generally don't take watching films as seriously as the rest of my family but a well-made film, or incredible performance are deeply appreciated!! Some of my personal favorite films (by no means a list of the best films made) are: The Wind Rises, Howls Moving Castel, Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind, About Time, Notting Hill, Inception, and so many more
Countries I’ve Visited
