About Me

Cześć, hello and hola👋
My name is Gabi, a 28-year-old girl from Poland with a curious mind, open heart and genuine interest of the world and people in it. 🌍
I currently live in Wrocław, I enjoy exploring the city so if you're visiting Wrocław, I'd be happy to show you around or just enjoy a nice walk and good conversation. My hosting availability depends a lot on my work and my flatmates but don't hesitate to reach out for a hangout.
Please note - couchsurfing is not a dating app for me. Friendly meetups only, please be respectful.
And when it comes to friend requests, I only accept people I've met in real life 😊 thanks for understanding!

I just quit my work in a bank and going for a one-year trip across South America, starting March 2026.

I fell in love with travelling during my very first trip abroad I was ~4 years old with my mom and sister to San Marino and Italy. I still remember a beautiful viewpoint on a hill, and that feeling of standing above everything and feeling so small🥹 I think that moment stayed with me and quietly shaped the way I travel until today. Wherever I am, I always want to find a panorama of the city 😂
Since then, I've traveled with my family, friends and also several times on my own. Every version of traveling taught me something different, but all of them made me feel at home in the world.

I've hitchhiked though the Balkans and Italy, slept in a tent in pretty unusual spots, fell in love with snorkeling in Egypt, spent two unforgettable years in Andalucia, Spain soaking up the sun and beaches while mastering the art of slow living🧘🏼‍♀️ Along the way I met amazing Latin people and discovered the fun of dancing although I'm still counting steps and getting lost easily💃

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For cultural exchange, friendly meetups, and positive vibes.
To share my travel experiences and learn from others.
I' definitely more of a "local bar and local people" traveler than a checklist type. I don't need to see every museum or church (though I'm happy to visit the truly iconic ones). I care more about atmosphere, stories, everyday life and real connections.
I truly believe in the quote "happiness is only real when shared" and that the best memories come from people so if you're open to sharing a bit of your world, I'll gladly share mine☺️

What I Can Share with Hosts

I respect house rules and personal space. I am independent person so I don't expect my hosts to entertain me but of course I appreciate the time together and I'm up for hanging out. I will be happy to share my travel stories and some knowledge about polish culture. If you need any help around the house you can count on me. I will be happy to cook for you some Polish vegan dishes 😋
I value kindness, clear communication and mutual respect.
I've slept in many different places along the way so I don't need much. A safe piece of floor is more than enough for me🫶
