About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Polyglotism
"If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart."
-Nelson Mandela
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Northern California and have since moved to sunny SoCal and love all it has to offer. I am currently living and studying in Germany, and I am enjoying every moment I get to spend in this amazing country. I will be moving back to Los Angeles next year, so please come visit!
At the moment I am pursuing a degree in International Business and Economics, and I would like to travel as much as possible while doing so for the sake of my sanity. My goal is to fluently speak 5 languages (hopefully more), and I am halfway there. In 2015 I backpacked Europe solo, and it was the most amazing few months of my life! I now live here and get the opportunity to travel most weekends, but nothing will ever beat the spontaneity and sweet sweet challenge of backpacking. After I graduate, my next big trip will be seeing every national park in the US.... Stay tuned!
I like adventure, wilderness, impulsivity, mischief, and anything refreshing from the monotony of every day life. I like witty people and clever jokes… life is too short to be serious all the time. I am happiest on a mountain surrounded by all things wild with some good coffee in my mug and shoes FULL of dirt.
There was a time when I was a workaholic and drove myself crazy stressing over insignificant things. Now I'm a little more light hearted and there isn't a moment when I am not joking around. My brain is always burning with curiosity, and each time I go somewhere new I come back less and less ignorant. Everyone is a teacher, so I like to take away something from everyone I meet!
PHILOSOPHY
1. Carpe Diem
2. Be bold, & mighty forces will come to your aid.
3. Never stop learning; never stop exploring.
4. Always take the scenic route.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with amazing humans all over the world.
Interests
I am interested in what others are passionate about. If we happen to both like the outdoors, dancing, or sharing a cold beer in a hole in the wall pub then we will get along fabulously.
I am also interested in creativity and people who want to build a legacy; what can I say... I am a business major.
