About Me
CURRENT MISSION
On a mission to find the comfiest couch in a cafe
ABOUT ME
Once upon a time, I was somewhat of a misanthrope (more pessimistic than anything), now I am less of pessimist, but some of my interests remain like listening to Joy Division and the like and reading what some may consider depressing literature. Despite whatever residual pessimism there may be in me, I truly enjoy loving and caring for people.
I teach 5th grade at a bilingual (English and Spanish) elementary school. Because of this, I spend most of my time now thinking about love, empathy, power, justice, and childrens books.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in empathy and sustainability.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to meet other people and get more of an "authentic" experience while visiting other places. I enjoy traveling by myself, but sometimes it's also nice to wander around with someone who knows a place and can give you a different perspective.
Interests
Museums, used bookshops, cafes, music, art history, films, music shows and cats. I also love languages. I love to read and write. I like to pretend that I'm good with a camera and with a pen.
