ABOUT ME

I enjoy attending & performing at Open Mics. Additionally, I love the opportunity to meet friendly, open minded people. I have a relaxed, curious demeanor. and I try not to take life too seriously. While I appreciate nice things (such as a big, soft couch), I value people above all else.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we're here to have as many positive relationships with other people as possible (& to use our gifts to help others).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spent several weeks surfing throughout the Oakland area (and meeting lovely, unique folks). Currently I'm interested to meet others via CS events, as well as by having a coffee with the occasional traveler (please feel free to hit me up).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For the past several years I've been renting rooms (often from friends). Given my transient lifestyle, I have the ability to pick up and leave whenever it suits me; which currently suits me well.

I met a beautiful Italian woman on the beach in Santa Monica, California who was an exchange student. After she returned to Italy, we re-met on Facebook, and we decided (on a whim) to go to New York together to celebrate New Years Eve.

I'd love to learn about everything that they didn't teach me in school (which amounts to quite a lot). In particular, I'm fascinated with all things non-consumerist/ imperialistic culture.

I have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of indie/mainstream films (both domestic & foreign); including directors, actors, etc.
