I'm Gabriele Quaranta, a 23 year old guy from Italy 🇮🇹. I grew up in a beach village in the south of Italy and lived for studies in Pisa for many years (yes, the city of the leaning tower). I decided to become a neuroscientist and now I came to finish my master thesis at Harvard University in Boston 🇺🇸🧠.

I love travelling for long times, spending months or years in different countries and learn about their culture and costumes which always fascinated me, already during High school I decided to spend one year in the beautiful India where I learnt how to be independent, adapt to new uses and integrate in a community that is so different but also so similar to mine.

I love to meet new people and share experiences, stories, fun times! Living abroad for me means to be completely immersed in a new culture, and what's the best way to do that if not being connected with locals and people with amazing stories!!

Interests

I'm a big science guy, I studied biology and know a lot about animals and plants, and if you're interested I can definitely entertain you with some fun animal facts. Besides that, my biggest passion is the brain, reason for which I study neuroscience and currently I am doing research on how the brain controls social behavior.
I am also a theater kid and definitely happy to see shows and musicals.

I am a big Pop and Rock music fan, my favourite singer is Lady Gaga for whom I'm really passionate about, but I also love 80's and 90's rock and Italian music.
