ABOUT ME

I am free spirited and believe in every bodies right to live a life of their choosing. I am very accepting about peoples choices and opinions, but become very concerned and active if people, especially children are being hurt through others.
I grew up in Germany, and lived in the USA most of my life. I raised three children, mostly in the Boston area. They are now beautiful caring adults, and I am the proud grandmother of a 1 year old.
I spend a lot of my time hiking and tent camping.
Professionally I teach math and physics at college level in Florida. I just started a new project researching a book which will explain the role of mathematics in modern physics, in particular Emmy Noethers influence on modern Quantum Field Theory. particle physics and string theory. I want to make an attempt to explain the gist of her theorems and their consequences in laymen's terms.
