I'm a 34 year old dude. Loves harmony, music, nature, getting dirty, being rowdy. A bit of a hippie with a good job but no criminal record, I lean toward the Bohemian, progressive, and creative, but was born and raised as a small town kid in the Midwest. That meaning I like honesty, handshake deals with an iron grip, family and lifelong friends, garden grown sweet corn and the smell of gasoline. Yes I have a beard.

I've traveled a fair bit in and out of the U.S. and find everywhere can be great so long as good folks are met along the way. Experiencing a place comes much sooner in local company. Guide books are helpful but are inherently shortcoming. Plus, paying $20 or more for a sleep and shower is insane to me, and I don't want anyone else paying that either. Want to help people travel instead of sightsee and male new friends.

Connection to nature and people, unending fun, occasional drinking, being outside doing my part to offset our global economic and climate troubles. Water. Yoga. Going til full out exhaustion, the real runner's high, followed the peace of deep stillness.

Movies: Wes anderson films, terentino, anything starring J Law, not because she's hot. Because she's awesome.

My roommate and I live in a cozy second floor apartment ofn a brick building with a balcony, fenced in back yard and garden. we are both well read and traveled. Our downstairs neighbors are from Brooklyn and are as good of a time as is to be had.
Thanks to my job we often cook up a plate of fresh organic vedge, but are no strangers to a fine plate o meat.
We have a ton of friends in our neighborhood ranging from the local farm and food scene, to biking, climbing, yoga and deeply spiritual, that we see often and can plug you in to what you're after.
