Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I was young I've always been a nomadic gypsy type- as an avid traveler I've always tried to do it for the spirit of adventure and not spend excessive time booking pretty hotel rooms in crowded cities. I think couchsurfing is a wonderful way to meet new faces in an unfamiliar place and really enjoy "living" in a place for a few days as opposed to playing the tourist. I'm hoping to connect with some awesome people along the road as well that I can keep in touch with after I'm gone. I like to make friends everywhere I go, human connections are a vital part of a happy life.

I'd also love to be able to host at some point and provide a safe landing place for other travelers.

Interests

I love photography, writing, and ceramic sculpture. I bike, swim, and rock climb whenever weather permits, and am always looking for an adventure. I LOVE to cook, and jump on any and every opportunity to prepare an awesome meal for a group of people. Meals shared between friends, old or new are some of my favorite times.
