My name is Gabriella. I currently live in Vienna, Austria, but am from Sacramento, CA. I began my move to Europe as a professional softball player and fell in love with the country. I always wanted to pursue a masters degree and decided to do so in Europe. I am now living here with occasional visits back to the States. I love traveling and have discovered that knowing/staying with locals always makes a trip 10x better. I can enjoy a night out in the city until the sunrises, as well as enjoy a night in with some beer/wine binge watching shows or movies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a couch surfer because I have traveled with one of my best friends using couch surfing. The experiences/places locals can share or recommend made travels way more fun. Also, it is great to meet other travelers, as some hosts are travelers themselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are comedies and action. I do love a good Netflix series. “The Office” back in the States is my favorite. “Night Shift” in Europe was amazing until it’s abrupt end (still upset about it). I am always up to start a new series and give any an opportunity to catch my interest.
I’m not much of a reader besides the news and maybe a magazine here and there.
