Me and my boyfriend are currently backpacking through Southeast Asia and looking to do so in a budget friendly way - we’re new to all this, but heard great things about Couchsurfing and we’re very excited to try it. We don’t have any references yet as this is our first time here, and we’re not verified because it costs too much. Still, I’m hoping some of you will give us a chance! I promise we’re lovely people and we’d be so happy to meet you.

Our story:

Me and Jack met at a hostel during our first solo trips, in Portugal. Since then we’ve had a long distance relationship as I live in Norway and he in England. Even with that challenge, we made it our mission to travel the world together - and so we worked our butts off to make this trip possible. We’ve spent just over a month in Indonesia, and at the moment we are in Thailand.

I’m passionate about cultural immersion as I’ve grown up in a multicultural home myself, with my mom being from Brazil and my dad from Norway. I’ve lived in both countries and speak Portuguese and Norwegian fluently, as well as English and a good level of Spanish. Wherever I go I try and pick up idioms, be mindful of local customs and respect the culture. I’m interested in travelling sustainably, volunteering opportunities, and nurturing the community where I’m staying.
