About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm curious about everything and always trying to make the best out of a situation. I'm an independent documentary filmmaker and love trying new projects or crafts, hiking, biking, exploring, and sharing good food with interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started hosting in college and have made great friends along the way. We've gone from bar hopping to camping to laser tag and cooking experiments to sad goodbyes. I now host in DC but because my schedule is all over the place I'm only able to offer to those with public trips when I know I'll be in town.

I surf a lot when I'm traveling, even for work. It's a great way to meet people and is always more fulfilling and enlightening than too many nights alone in a hotel.

Interests

Documentary filmmaking, hiking, horse trekking + natural horsemanship, conservation, good food, urban gardening, mountains, film festivals, outdoor concerts, my cat, orange juice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding through an Icelandic horse herding for over 10 hours with my cameras, getting to a volcanic eruption two days later completely sore from said riding but with the chance to see the northern lights against the glow of an eruption.
