Hi!
My name is Gaby, I’m 27 and currently living in Louisville CO, USA. I love discover new places and meet new people, this is why I choose to become an au pair. I’m living in the USA since September 2016 and traveled around a bit ( Boston, Washington DC, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Montreal, Québec, LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, Albuquerque...). My next stop after a few months in France is going to be Australia and New Zealand. I'm planning to be an au pair there for 18 to 24 months. After I would like to do Japan or Hong Kong or Singapore. Least but not last, the Canada, west side.
I also dream of going to visit the African continent, finish the European one and go the South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live traveling and mostly discover how different or similar life can be in different countries. It's the cultural and everyday life experience that I like the most. The contact and exchange with the other.
As for now, I'm traveling around the world and not able to host anybody but I hope that when I settle down couchsurfing will still be here so I can return the favor.

Interests

I mostly watch movies, read books and listen to music. I cannot spend a day without music, can be children's song or radio but I still listen to it.
I also discovered a big love for baseball during my US time and I'm a big supporter of the New York Mets! It kills me to know that I will not be able to watch the games anymore after I leave.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pretty much all kind of music. I discovered country during my stay in Colorado and I love it! Don't know how I'm gonna do when I will leave the US...
I grew up with books, not TV and used to read crazy amount of books. I have less time for it now but I'm still in love with books, from classic to romance to thrillers. Little preference for the last one though.
Movie are a big part of my life! I go to theater a least once a week, more like two really, and try to watch every that's out. Exception make for horror movie, I don't watch those, I'm too scared and it never ends well for me 😅

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living my country for two years to work in the USA as an au pair. I'm really proud of myself for doing it and it force me to become more open. This experience change my life and the way I see and do things. It was amazing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love exchanging about pretty much everything around a glass of wine. I'm open minded and really like discussing with people whom have different opinion. Far warning, sometimes I talked to much😉
Also I'm not an amazing cook but I can manage a few meals and I'm pretty good at baking ( french cake and crepes😋 )
