I love travel and learning and trying new things. In 2016, my husband and I took a nine month trip around the world which was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I'm an early childhood teacher and vegan so vegetarians/vegans should feel especially welcome in our home and for anyone else there's absolutely no judgment. We're welcoming to all.

Right now I am reading a lot of Pema Chodron and books about mindfulness and stoicism. Harry Potter is a reliable favorite. I don't see a lot of movies, but I like to curl up after work with a TV show on Netflix or Hulu.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in New York City for five years. Traveling solo in Ecuador and Colombia.
Learning to scuba dive despite a deep water phobia. Playing with three sea lions while snorkeling. Swimming out to an island to watch hundreds of flying foxes soar into the sunset.
