I am a student at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Currently, I am in a three year program earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I lived in Missouri my entire life until getting accepted into this program. I was ready to branch out and explore the rest of this beautiful county where I live. I don't know much about Tampa, because I haven't lived here long. However, exploring this city has been fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend had a profile, so I thought I would create one as well. I love to travel and love meeting new people from different countries. I am hoping to make connections with people across the globe, so when I decide to travel I will have people to turn to and show me around their city.

Interests

I love to be active. Basketball and volleyball are my favorite sports, but I enjoy all sports and learning new ones.

Singing and dancing is fun. I have been taking Salsa dance classes for a little while now; it is much more challenging than anticipated but still amazing fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is almost everything, but rap. I tend to get annoyed with rap very easily. Sorry to all of those rappers out there.

I am a sucker for any disney movie (Pocahontas) or sappy love story (The Notebook). Also, I am a big fan of action packed and suspenseful movies. Hate scary movies.

Jodi Picoult is my favorite author. Also, I just tend to read what is trending at the time; yes, I have read the 50 shades of grey series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to the top of Mt Troy located in the Eyre Mountains of New Zealand. It was the biggest accomplishment of my life. :) It took 4 hours to get to the top and about 2 1/2 hours to travel down.
