About Me
Hi, there! I'm Gabrielle.
I've been studying English for 7 years and a half. I'm always learning about something new. I don't have experience travel yet, but I love to meet new people from different countries and learn about cultures.
One of my dreams is to go on an exchange program. I think I'll make a lot of friends who will be doing the same thing as me. It will be a totally different thing from everything I've ever done and I love challenges and adventures.
Someday, I want to get a backpack and go out to see the world! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, I'm known by my friends as the "Taylor Swift fan". I really love her songs. My taste for music is peculiar.
I love movies. I'm the little girl who loves romance movies, but I also have my other side who loves an action movie. I'm addicted to movies about natural disasters and environmental documentaries, sorry but that is so important!
I'm a book lover. Books are part of my day-to-day life as air or anything else essential. I always leave a book in my bag and I need to read at least one page before bed.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've always been afraid of change. I don't like changes, but I know they are necessary in our lives. Here's a short story. Four years ago, I had an experience that I'll never forget and I had to face this silly fear. I needed to make new friends and throw myself into the unknown. Nowadays, when I think about it I feel so proud to have been brave.
Nature is such a precious thing. I love being in touch with nature, listening to the singing of birds, taking a walk through the florest, watching the sky during sunset. Nature brings me calm, I feel so good about myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
“Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”
