About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Write the world that I dream

ABOUT ME

It's not that easy to describe ourselves. Well, I suppose that I'm a little interesting : I have friend since a lot of years and they are still my friends, it's revealing.

PHILOSOPHY

Never be static.

Not only physically. I mean move by traveling of course, but also by evolving. I found sad those who stop learning, personally I won't have enough of one life to see, hear, touch, feel and taste all I wanted to. Don't be static : read, learn, travel, meet, search, and find.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm in the translation group. It means that I'm giving my opinion on the text which are translated from English to French for couchsurfing.org of course. I'm helping like I can :) I encourage you to do it, if you have any particular skills which can help the organization.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing during my trip in Greece in 2010 and it was amazing! My trip wouldn't be that awesome without CS who helped me meet people that I'll never forget. I couldn't host before because I was living with my parents, but now that I am in apartment, I want to try to be the host instead of the surfer.

Interests

Writing, playing the only song I know on my guitar(I just begin learning), listening to music, reading any kind of book, drawing anything for fun, singing with friends in a car at 3:00 AM, traveling just to see the world, learning anything, watching movie sunday morning with my parents, skating outside, taking picture which will become souvenir, talking around a coffee or a beer about literature and Quebec (or anything else in fact), meeting and sharing with new people, dreaming that I'm a famous author and sleeping all day long because I did'n sleep the night before !

Books : Well, will I really be able to choose some author more than others? Can you imagine how hard it can be for a literary student to make that "selection? I'll do my best I guest...

First of all : Albert Camus. But there's also : Denis Thériault, Catherine Mavrikakis, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Steinbeck, Bram Stoker, Neil Gaiman, Meg Rosoff, James M. Barry, Patrick Süskind, Baudelaire, Rimbaud, Nathalie Sarraute, Romain Gary, François Blais, Anne Hébert, Apollinaire, John Irving, Milan Kundera, and I'm probably forgetting a thousand of others! I apologize.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the boat which goes near to the Niagara's falls and we were surrounding by all this water, amazing.

I drank red wine while writing on a balcony in Veneto when twilight felt on red roofs, it was magic.

I saw Julius Caesar's grave, strange and impressive to be there...

I saw David sculpted by Michelangelo and I lived one of the most intense art experience of my life. I just stay in front of it and look it for... I don't know how long in fact. It was just too much for me.

I meet all kind of people in Greece that was more interesting that any ruins that I've seen.

See Athens from the Acropolis is quite special... The city is as far as you can see and you're in some ruins so old... Strange feeling about past and present... In the night it's completely something else also.

Walk all the ten kilometers of the Meteora, a day of photography where I saw the most impressive landscape in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach main french and quebec literary movement, skating and french (of course).

I want to learn EVERTYTHING.
