About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Gather stories and experiences around the world to use for the book I am writing.

ABOUT ME

I am the luckiest person I have ever met ("knock on wood"). I am told I am inquisitive and easy to talk to. I desire spontaneity and adventure constantly, the thought makes my blood boil with passion and excitement. I am quite 'chill' and will be working on a book during my travels, which I am sure we will get into plenty of interesting discussions about in the future if we are to cross paths. «Adieu, dit le renard. Et maintenant, voici mon secret, un secret tres simple. C'est seulement avec le coe“ur que l'on peut voir a juste titre. Ce qui est essentiel est invisible pour les yeux»

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be starting in Lyon, France on August 14th and trying to make my way across the world to Australia by May 2014.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A novice, but I have met amazing people through Couchsurf in San Francisco!

Interests

Everything and anything. I love hearing peoples perceptions of their reality and history especially, personal stories and about where I am. I spend a majority of my time in coffee shops talking to people and writing or reading. If convinced enough, I am usually up for just about anything!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I will read anything that anyone gives to me. I have just finished William Faulkner's Light in August and I have begun Thirteen Stories by Thirteen Great Writers. I would have to say my favorite book is Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, he's a brilliant artist when is comes to writing and it's the only ending I have actually enjoyed from any book I have ever read (I usually am completely unsatisfied with endings).

Movies: Braveheart, The Gladiator, Sense and Sensibility, Secrets of Roan Inish, The Boondock Saints, Gangs of New York, Harry Potter, Aemilie, Across the Universe, Disney animated movies, A Little Princess

Music: Any and everything, usually depends on the mood I am in for that period of time or what I am exposed to. I grew up loving the classics; Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue, Ray Charles, Elvis, Billy Joel, Elton John, The Beatles, Nirvana, Eminem, Dre, Snoop, you get it. However, as of recently I have been listening to a lot of The Killers, King Krule, Lana del Rey and Kendrick Lamar

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen and experienced the kindness in people around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love yourself, you can't love anyone or anything truly until you do. And be kind. All the rest of my knowledge is handwritten in my notebooks...
