About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to conquer this world one adventure at a time. i just started my journey in europe this august and will be back this time next year.

ABOUT ME

I was born in California and moved to Texas in 2000. (however, I never fully assimilated)

Then I studied at UT, donated my kidney to my dad and decided to take a break from conventional responsibilities and travel the world. I do not have a boyfriend, children, or anything tying me to one place so I am taking advantage of that! :)

I have never used online profiles for anything, really, so I am not sure how much information people want to or expect to know from my page.

PHILOSOPHY

Love the life you live.

Free your spirit.

I think the most important thing is this world is to be happy and I definitely believe that the world would be a better place if everyone felt they had a friend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am traveling full time, so I do not have a couch anyone can crash on.. but one day i'd definitely do my part in participating, as I am thankful for the existence of couchsurging.org!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

August 2014 was the first time I tried out Backpacking and it was one of the best experiences of my life (in Europe). I stayed in hostels most of the time, (used the Meninger and I recommend it!) However, in Amsterdam I was invited to join a couch surfer and had an amazing experience.

Our host biked us around and showed us the red light district. Although we only stayed 2 nights, we managed to pack plenty of memories including movie watching, the night scene, bike rides and karoake.

Interests

I love traveling, movies, animals, food, life, the outdoors, indoors, sleeping, meeting new people, sharing stories, writing, listening...

basically all that is good!

Music, Movies, and Books

oooo, movies are my favorite thing. I plan on making movies some day and am currently working on a few things.

I love all good movies and all good music. This means a bit of most genres.. but very few "country." haha

Books: I enjoy it. Sure my favorites are "the Giving Tree" "What Dreams May Come" and "The Life of Pi" but anything that provokes emotion is something I am open to.

However, I have always read non-fiction and was raised on the National Geographic... So.... I could tell you more facts than stories, probably. BUT IM WORKING ON IT!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have held a baby lion and kissed it. That was probably the most amazing experience of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

well, I have stories! am described as laid back and also love to listen.
but most of all- High Fives!!

I actually have many practical skills as I was raised in the wilderness. I played the Saxophone, piano, pick up instruments pretty easily, am probably a relationship guru, enjoy photography, exploring and think I can provide with interesting outlooks on situations, as I am very driven by logic and empathy... as odd as that sounds.

I can also help out with chores. ;) and feed the cat.
