About Me

Hello! I'm a queer artist burner adventurer type person who loves seeing new things and meeting new people! In my normal life, I work in HR and am active in LGBT activism. I dabble in as many hobbies as possible, and am roughly equally as likely to get dressed up and go out dancing as I am to build a blanket nest and work on my knitting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love experiencing places like a local. I'm interested in seeing the big touristy things too, but I love personal recommendations for the things tourist books might not tell you. I also enjoy swapping stories and hearing about others' experiences.

Interests

I've probably dabbled in most forms of crafting at one point or another. Right now, I'm working on knitting an afghan (my biggest knitting project ever!) and experimenting with different cooking/baking projects. Most recently, I made hot cocoa bombs filled with chocolate and pop rocks and delivered them as a surprise to friends around the city. I spent a lot of quarantine creating makeup/costume looks just for fun. I've been spinning fire for about 3 years now, and it's one of my favorite things to do. I'm also a decent dancer in lindy hop and blues dancing, though I'm a little out of practice now.
