Hi, I'm Gad Hasson, born and raised in Jerusalem to an Argentinian mom and Israeli dad and have three siblings - two brothers and one sister.

Growing up in Jerusalem, I was always curious about other cultures, languages, and people. Since high school, I have been searching and creating experiences that allowed me to work in the field, work with my hands, and seek out good vibes and good people. From the desert and the forest, the cities of the Middle East, I have worked as a scout, as a guide and worked in teams to make amazing projects come to life.

This led me to traveling in Africa for six months, immersing myself completely in the nature, cities and wonder that Africa has as a land. Scuba diving in Mozambique, hiking in Zanzibar, jeeping across South Africa and exploring the land of Tanzania, I got to experience more than I imagined, and continue to search for these moments in my travels. I also bungee jumped in South Africa from the 2nd highest bungee in the world

For the past year, I've been working in the desert of Israel, where I've been learning how to build yurts, high quality tents, and all different maintenance tasks - cooking, cleaning, and working at the reception of a well-known Israeli hotel located in the biggest crater in the Middle East, and falling asleep under the stars and building a community of close friends and a lot of jokes. I'm experienced in electricity and sound maintenance and building with wood, metal and a combination of the two.

I love to cook - Mediterranean, Italian, Argentinian, Asian, Indian - and I am super tidy, keeping my space organized is as important to me in my travels as it is at home. I'm happy to help out in any way necessary, and am go with the flow, grounded, reliable, loving and hard working.

I also have recently been learning to DJ - focused on trance music but integrating styles from around the world. That is part of why I want to continue traveling, adding new styles to my music as I go.

I've traveled many places in the world - Africa, Europe, UAE, Thailand, Egypt, Argentina - and throughout my journey I have stayed and lived in all kinds of accommodations (hostels, hotels, farms, campsites, caravans, tents).

However, the best places I've stayed have been when I meet a friend along the way who has offered to host me, living with friends I met in South Africa and exploring the life of locals, I'm on couch surfing to discover the countries and places I travel to in the most authentic way possible. I love feeling "at home" while I'm traveling, and love to contribute to making a place grow - from small tasks around the house to gathering people together and laughing.

I'm here to teach about making music and working with your hands - anything from building shelves, furniture, decks, glamping tents, electricity circuits and maintaining all necessary technical parts of a house or campsite or farm, and in music about mixing, sourcing and combining sounds that think out of the ordinary. I love seeing people dance from my mixes and dancing myself with people I love around me.

I'm here to learn about building in other forms and to improve what I have started to learn - I want to learn other strategies of building (maybe using natural materials), and especially learn more about making music and learning sounds from around the world. I would also love to add a third language to my language ability.

Like mentioned above, I'm great at building and technical maintenance, I love to cook, am a good cleaner and love to keep things organized, anything to do with physical outdoor labor and can share music and language (Hebrew, English). But in general, I'm open to doing almost anything that could be of help, and want to try things I haven't experienced and therefore improve myself.

Mostly, I'm here to share a lot of laughs, jokes, good vibes and positive energy, dancing and adventures. I am a people person and am looking to meet people who see the world like I do (and also those who see it in a different way).
