About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Current mission?! I-m-possible AKA "anything is possible you just have to believe it, and believe in yourself"

ABOUT ME

Hey there :) how are you? Hope everything is just fine with you...and I mean it :)
I'm Gaia. If you ever met the kind of person that fights and gets to finish a tons load of projects within a deadline that has been anticipated of 2 days, and that 2 seconds after is distracted by a butterfly and stumble and almost hits a pole in the street, but miss it and in this merry-go-round finds inspiration for creative ideas, you probably have an idea of which kind of person I might be ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. This is my first one rule. If something is good for you -and it's not hurting thirds-, then it will be ok for anybody else.

I am not into fights - they usually dont solve anything. This doesnt meant that people shant have voices; each person has his own and each one of them has same value as the others. And lots of time you'll learn the most while stay quiet and listening, first of all to yourself :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to help and give information about places I've been etc - when I am not commuting from one country to another one I'd also love to host. Until these crazy 2 years arent over, I cannot assure a lot of presence though, I spend most of my time at work, and I am utterly sorry for it :-/

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience happened 4 years ago, when I was living in Venice, and we had an awesome couple over, 2 biology students from Bogota' travelling Europe before deciding whether to stay here or going back to Columbia. They are still impressed in my mind, it was an awesome experience, both to give and to "take".

Interests

Too many - most of them I admit superficially, and I'm not proud of it. Anything creative, from painting to dancing; anything that I hadnt tasted before, from food to life experiences; anything that is a wonder and a riddle and a continue source of surprises, from nature to, and above all, people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm interested in pretty much anything. BUT:

- music: not a huge fan of MIDI, kind of boring
- books: romance and crimes are good only if a)it's summer b)well written c)has a plot not treated and re-treated
- movies: commercial movies+friends=awesome
commercial movies + NO friends=...ok, what else i can find for my own time?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

#1: The night in Qatar - you get what eternity means.
#2: Hamburg and its completely frozen lake, and people setting fairs over it.
#3: The hutons in Beijing -just, love them or hate them. I personally love them :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Stories. And cooking, and food. And above all, persons. Yes, each one of them is the item; I am the item myself.
Whatever I've read, watched, experienced, I'd be glad to share it to anybody else. Because that has been the way I;ve been taught and I've been learning.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Oman, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Germany, Italy, United Arab Emirates, United States
