ABOUT ME

I try to make the best out of everything that is given to me. A perfectionist, I guess.
If you’d ask my friends, they’d say I’m:
-moody: I used to have terrible mood swings, but now (for the last year or so) I try to keep my mood on the sunny side and it works! Of course I still have moments when it’s best to leave me alone ( I cannot figure out the reason; is it me being a woman, me being a Slovene or me being me)
-funny: always up for a good joke but not in an insulting way :)
- open-minded: I try to accept everyone, because the most horrible feeling of all is to feel unaccepted
-communicative: I have this (rather) strange habit to just walk up to people I’ve never seen before and start talking to them because they’ve caught my attention. It’s a great way to make new friends on every step. It’s also unpredictable which makes it more interesting (you never know who you are gonna bump into)
- talkative: I talk a lot but I always give a chance to the other one to speak his mind which makes a good listener. I like to make a debate out of an ordinary conversation.
-daring: I like to push myself just a little over the edge. It doesn’t mean that I mess with lethal stuff :D but for instance I say my opinion when everybody else keeps quiet
-naive (sometimes): I never expect that some people don’t have honest intentions (why in the world would somebody want to hurt me - ??!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a noob in couchsurfing :D
but I've been to Moscow and it has been the wildest experience ever:
Our russian friend Vadim that we met there took us to the roof of MGU (state university), which is strictly forbidden and dangerous as well but the view was amazing. I will never forget the nightsight of Moscow from the 50th floor!!!!

Interests

I’m interested in the biggest variety of things. My first love and interest are the languages. I study German and Russian which is way I just want to know everything about these languages, cultures, current news& affairs from these lands. Other languages interest me as well. Right now I’m just in love with Finnish (language, nature, culture, people, EVERYTHING) and French.
The second love of mine is music. My taste has varied over the years. I’ve gone from teen rock, death metal, electronic pop, r’n’b, rock’n’roll, American folk music, classical music, yodelling, indie rock to techno and psychadelic. Right now my favourite is power pop/rock and techno music.
My guitar is also a world to me. I’m a total beginner but I try my best to improve my skills.
My curse is cooking. I just don’t have the touch when it comes to cooking although I would like to cook. I envy those with the gift of knowing which ingredients go together.
I love theater. I go to see plays in the national theater in Ljubljana as often as possible.
And last but not the least, I want to travel Europe to get a glimpse of all the different people, nations, their habbits and culture that live on such small continent and still manage to make it trough.
I also like sport. Currently my passion is skateboarding but I'm planning to move on to longboards in fall. I just like riding my skate with the wind in my hair:)
