I am a long distance hiker and backpacker, having hiked over 18,000 miles! You can google, "Gail Lowe- hiker", to learn more about me and my hikes. I live in Michigan, but detest Michigan winters....so gray and cold! I look forward to traveling south during the winters. After working as a critical care nurse for 30 years, I now teach English to Chinese students online. And I hope to have wifi access and a quiet space along the way, so that I can continue to earn a living as I travel.

First woman to hike the entire 4,600 mile North Country Trail in one hiking season- 2014. In memory of my Daughter, who died of breast cancer in 2013. The hike was called, "Becka's Hike" and can be found on Google as well.
