About Me
Hi, I’m Gala.
I grew up in the English Countryside with my family and various animals before moving to London where I worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school. After just over two years in the city I became restless and eager to get moving so I quit my job and my boyfriend and I traveled through Europe, and along the Turkish coast including hiking the Kungsleden trail in Northern Sweden. We’re hoping to get back to Australia where Henry is from once their international borders reopen but for now we have to juggle our relationship in different countries wherever we are able to live together. To me Couchsurfing seems the best way to travel as I hope to meet interesting people from all over the world, hear their stories and learn from them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share experiences with new and likeminded people all over the world.
Interests
I love camping, walking and living amongst wildlife. I am a huge animal lover and have a real interest in insects. I write and play music and I have a journalistic website containing articles and recommendations focusing on social, political and environmental subjects. https://www.tuneintripout.com/. I love wine and whiskey and eating pod food with good people.
