About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life in all of its shapes and make something good for others

ABOUT ME

It's hard to describe oneself in a few lines... I'm a curious person, interested in many things, ranging from science to music and passing by photography and scuba diving. I took my Master's Degree in February 2014 and currently I'm working as a translator of technical manuals for an Italian company that makes software for clinical analysis laboratories (not much biotech, but it is what I've found for the moment).
I also ruled a little music therapy group with some psychiatric patients recently, an enriching experience I may try to repeat.
Meanwhile I keep on playing clarinet and singing, which I do since a long time in different places and delights me very much: music is a wonderful way to express oneself and create cheerfulness all around.
I also took part in seven work camps (like Hogwarts' training) in the recent summers, spending some time in a useful way for locals, from France to Serbia, and I bring very great memories from them.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that we live in a lucky part of the world, but elsewhere (also in our towns, indeed) people have huge problems in their daily life: in my opinion, we should show more solidarity for them (yes, it's a political problem if we think of Africa or similar).
In my little, I'm a blood donor and I sometimes do volunteer activities, mainly during the summer but also throughout the year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot host anyone at the moment, but if this changes I'll be glad to do it; I'm happy to meet passers-by and help them discover nice corners of Milan!

Interests

In addition to what I already mentioned, I can add journalism (I wrote a few articles for my high school journal and also later) and foreign languages (I can say some phrases in Serbian and Arabic, as well as a very limited Spanish or German). I'm fascinated by the diversity of cultures and languages, that's why I try to learn a little bit of different ones with a polyglot approach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In summer 2006, I passed one night with my campmates on the "Butte d'Ardenne", a little hill in France, near Clermont-Ferrand. It was amazing, with a very clear sky and all the stars visibile, and we brought a guitar so I could sing "Iperbole" by Raf under this scenery. Just unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some acoustic (or classical) guitar, or other basic music-related skills, as well as whatever concerns biotechnology, of course! =P
One day I'd like to learn Portuguese, for instance; I especially like the sound of words like "manifestação", "revelação" and "formação".

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Croatia, Cuba, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
