I am Boglár, 22 years old student from Hungary, currently studying for my undergrad in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
I am really into researching, biotechnology I'd like to develop new medicines in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am really open to new cultures and experiences, I would like to broaden my horizons by hosting/being hosted by people all over the world.
It'd also be great to just meet up, have a drink and a good talk. :)

Interests

I consider myself a versatile person. I am doing athletics, running competitively for 10 years now. Furthermore, I am playing the flute (&recorder) for 9 years.
I also started playing the ukulele a year ago.
I enjoy being in nature especially backpacking in the mountains.
I am also good with my hands, I like crafting postcards and jewellery. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide variety of music genres depending on the situation, my current mood. I can enjoy classical music as well as country, pop or blues. I like classical novels and sci-fi, and books based on biology.

Camino de Santiago (French way) pilgrimage in the summer of 2019.
33 days, 779 km, an unforgettable experience, Camino friendships that still last.

Backpacking trip in the US., Olympic National Park in 2016.
8 days, 72 km, myriad of breathtaking views.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be glad to teach some Hungarian my hosts even if it only extends to the numbers ;)
I can also share a little from my flute&ukulele knowledge if requested.
And I am fascinated to talk about topics regarding biotechnology, revolutionary medicines etc. :)
