Overview
About Me
What to say? I am someone who loves to laugh and learn and eat and drink and explore. I'm from Toronto, Ontario (Canada, if that wasn't clear) but just moved back to Europe!
I work primarily as a freelance graphic designer but I've grown up an artist at heart, I think. I like to try out ideas with video and writing and things like that. Naturally, music is a huge part of my life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in good people and the idea that what goes around, comes around. Good karma. Generosity, hospitality, whatever you want to call it.
I've hosted numerous friends and travellers at my place and had great chats with members of the CS community.
I officially became a couchsurfer in summer 2014 during an amazing trip through Edinburgh and Scotland. It was an integral part of that travel experience and I greatly look forward to more like it in the future.
Interests
Probably above all else, my greatest interest is in music. I enjoy playing the guitar, pianos (when I can find one, haha) and I experiment with more electronic stuff on my computer.
Other interests are simply planning or working on new creative projects, reading about science and history, and looking to explore new places. I like cooking a lot too, most of the time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music? I listen to a lot of stuff. Folk and world music, electronic, jazz, a little hip hop. I have a huge love for The Beatles and a lot of psychedelic bands from the 60s and 70s (e.g. Tropicalia from Brazil and 'krautrock' from Germany).
Movies... Recently, I have greatly enjoyed films by the likes of Alejandro González Iñárritu, P.T. Anderson, the Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, Terrence Malick, Alfonso Cuarón ... and many others!
Books: Some good reads in the past while would be stuff by David Byrne, Jack Kerouac, H.G. Wells, Murakami, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Cormac McCarthy, and Thomas King.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I will save the details for when we meet but I usually think of scuba-diving in Bali, Indonesia as one of the most incredible experiences I've had. But there are so many more...
