Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the friendly atmosphere of people here and also I like to know the place by locals, not only touristic guides. CS helped me to have wonderful time with very open-minded people. In fact, I hosted a french guy 4 years ago in Moldova and now he is my husband, lol. Who would have known?

Interests

Like I said, I like to learn about the world. It helpes to find answers, so sometime I spend many hours trying to comprehend how mushrooms communicate with plants, or how the brain works.
Also, I love to learn about the culture, philosophy, and to write my own thoughts on these topics.
My interests are more like a big network of many diverse curiousities, so it's hard to explain them in couple of words.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of music, my tastes are quite eclectic: classics, trip-hop, alternative, blues, experemental electronic music and many others.
In terms of movies, books and games: I love a good written narrative, be it sci-fi or middle ages story.
My favourite movie is "Waking life".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've made a little computer game in 3 days for the Ludum Dare contest. Me as designer and my friend as programmist. We've never done anything like this before but our game gave us a bit of success. I never even believed we could do that in 3 days. We've been working 19 hours a day, but we did it! Hell yeah.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some painting, computer graphics, color theory and composition in visual representation (which helps a lot even when you try to compose your clothes to friday night), some languages, some history of eastern Europe.

I also can share my knowledge about the brain, ADHD, Autism, and my thoughts in how it works.

I can tell you lots of stories about such a small country like Moldova, nobody knows anything about it :)
