ABOUT ME

I've just finished a 3 year English teaching stint in Taiwan and I'm cruising around South East Asia on my last extended holiday probably until I retire. Sad isn't it.
I'm looking to hit every great beach from Singapore to Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos, not to mention scuba diving every great spot along the way too. I'll be looking to hook up with other people that are like minded.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Petra in Jordan and the whole of Egypt was an absolutely amazing experience. You have to experience Egypt as a back packer. You can get immersed into the culture so much more. Trekking in Nepal in the Annapurna mountains was also one of my most memorable events. Touching snow for the first time in my life in Norway and having a snow fight with my friends ranks up there as well.

When buying food from stalls in a third world country, always wait in the longest line. You're almost sure to get good, tasty food and probably less likely to get sick from it. Freshly prepared food will have less chance of having bacteria. If all else fails... make sure you have immodium with you at all times!
