Now back in Gambia

We are a married couple on couchsurfing a while now.
I Lived and studied in the UK, South Africa and Gambia.
Jana lived in Lebanon and several African Countries.

Travel minimum 2 moths a year :-)

I spend a lot of time on the water when in Gambia.
We both love meeting people, and chatting and finding out new things about new places.

We try to make it a mission to go to at least 2 new countries every year, so no wonder I have visited about 55 countries ;-) ( jana and i together less since we got married only 5 years ago.

I have always been a host, unl ikely to be a guest, but you never know, I travel at the drop of a hat, and never make plans ?

On my last trip . I decided to travel late July for 2 months, so I took a plane to Madrid and just started going around Europe. I was on the road till 5 Oct when I had to catch a plane from London back to work.

Gambia is a great place to live and visit , but it's only busy from Oct till May, then it gets very quite, hence I have a long free period every year.

If you ever decide to visit Gambia / or Scotland, give me a nudge, if we are there, we will help in every way if we can

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy and generous, go with the flow,
I can party with 18 year olds and 70 year olds , as long as its fun

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a Couchsurfing Ambassador

I have hosted many surfers since I became active, and so far all have been great experiances, I always honor my comitments, even if I decide to travel, if I agreed to host you before I made my travel plans, I will still arrange for someone to be your host in my house.

Have had 3 surfers that were coming then I had to go to hungary, and uk when they were due, but both times, I had a friend look after my house and meet the surfers, and host them in my house.

I used to own a cocktail bar in a hotel, and meet many people there, and some of them when they return to Gambia , have stayed with me instead of paying for the hotel , so made some friends there too.
