Interests

I moved from India long time ago. And the move from Chicago (after living there for 20 years) seems like that! In any case, here I am. Life is a journey, right? I'm linguistically and musically minded. I'm also a lazy foodie - meaning I love the aesthetics of it but I'm lazy about execution! I love traveling, being international, learning whatever that comes along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

there is a wide range of music I'm interested in -
some examples include minimal techno such as richie hawtin, arjun vagale; indie rock such as belle & sebastian, camera obscura; indian classical; and international music tropicalia, western african etc. that I wouldn't remember the names but would the know the sounds I like :))

Tend to like off-beat, psychologically disturbing movies - Coen brothers, Richard Linklater etc. Also like international films - can live and enjoy vicariously in those places and cultures!
