I am based near Heathrow Airport (LHR), working in aviation. I love the Netherlands, care about the environment and play in a samba-reggae percussion band called Batala.

After graduating in mid-2014, I took a sabbatical year to see more of the world and taught English in Indonesia, farmed in Belgium and did some DIY in Leiden (the Netherlands). I also travelled around central Europe and southeast Asia. Since then I got my first grown-up job (late 2015) and so haven't been as active on CS.

I prefer slow travelling, where I get to experience life more like a local than a tourist. I enjoy seeing how different people lead their lives, hearing their stories and learning from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I often go travelling on my own, so would like to meet up with other travelers to explore new places together. I want to make connections with people from all across the world by sharing stories, culture and discussing ideas.
