ABOUT ME

I have been working in the field of performing arts and have been writing about music for more than 15 years. I am comfortable meeting strangers - I might have inherited this from my grandparents who hosted guests during the 'iron curtain' era when lake Balaton was a popular summer destination for disrupted families from East- and West-Germany.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had CS-like encounters long before I heard of Couchsurfing: I met someone at a tram stop in the middle of the night, asking for information how to get back to the hotel and we became good friends. (Now I know, leaving your hotel without the address, neither being aware of directions, and yet finding your way back is doable if you grew up in Vietnam.) I first met with two Dutch friends when they needed to exchange an unwanted ticket (I was doing international ticket services of Sziget Festival then) and since then we've met whenever they come to Hungary.

兴趣

Languages, long distance running, antique books, cultural oddities and - you won't guess - music. I sometimes find myself attending religious ceremonies, visiting churches whenever if I go abroad. I'm not a member of any "clubs", but I'm interested in religion, and devotion amazes me.

Too many to make any lists, especially for music. Have often been asked, have often refused creating any. I keep some old punk vinyl records next to classical music rack, so I guess you got the idea now.
