I believe in sitting on the picket fence even if it means you get pricked by it most of the time. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt most of the time, as everyone has different opinions and life stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have rented rooms via Airbnb before in DC and Europe, and am recently trying Couchsurfing. I try to go for these 'shared experience' websites as they are cheaper on the wallet and not least because it allows me to meet new people, friends and it fosters understanding even more between different cultures. It broadens your experiences and to a larger extent, makes you less naive of the world and its realities.

Walking on St. Peter's Square. It was breathtaking. It didn't meet expectations of a Dan Brown novel, but just basking in the atmosphere of the plaza was enough to enliven my senses.
