Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
To be a loving father, neighbor, partner, friend, and community servant. To receive what I need and help as able to ensure others get the same opportunities.
ABOUT ME
I am a father, educator, edible gardener, cyclist, student, author, friend, and art enthusiast. I live with my son and my partner. I enjoy my home city of Ann Arbor in Southeast Michigan. Feel free to ask any questions.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to host guests regularly and I like to receive others' hospitality as well. It has been a long time, but we are open to hosting guests again. I hear that (US) Americans are the globally the worst at hospitality; I want to see that stigma washed by positive experiences where people share and express respect, nobility, empathy, and mutuality.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first official couchsurfing experience was New Years Eve 2009/2010 in Mizzoula, Montana--excellent hospitality and time shared. In 2012, I published my debut book and went on a US tour from June until February. I did not purchase a single hotel room. I enjoyed abundant hospitality in many regions across the country. In 2015, I became a father. For the past five years, I have not been able to host guests. Now, we are beginning to open up to hosting again. I imagine more positive chapters to come.
