My name is Garrett. I grew up and still live in Florida so naturally I have it made. I'm very outgoing and love adventure. I work in a Scuba and Paintball store so I'm surrounded by temptations to travel all the time. I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, going to the beach, Scuba Diving, fishing, and almost anything outside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never been Couchsurfing but a few friends I met who travelled to my store told me about it. I have heard of it from others since then and finally made an account. I love meeting new people and seeing new places and figured this would connect me to like minded people.

Interests

I love sports. All kinds. If I don't know how to play it, you can teach me. I enjoy Scuba Diving, particularly spearfishing. I have recently begun hiking and love that. I've been up to the Appalachians quite a few times. I've always loved traveling and hit the road during every break in my schedule.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty diverse on music. Favorites include Explosions in the Sky, Ed Sheeran, and John Mayer. But I also can listen to My Chemical Romance. Depends on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most amazing thing I've done is visit the Grand Canyon. I thought that I wouldn't be that impressed but I was absolutely mesmerized by how massive it was. Seeing that made me realize that I have to be missing out on so many things the world has to offer. Also, skydiving blew my mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a small town in Florida. Just small enough for good home cooking and a great breakfast. We have 8 people in the house so you'd have to enjoy meeting people. I live 1 hour from Orlando and about 2 hours from any gulf beach near Tampa Bay. If you really want to camp, I have woods in the back half of my property open to groups.
