We are an adventurous, travel-addicted, open and understanding couple living in Lisbon.

I (Garrett) grew up in Arizona, but have lived internationally much of my adult life. I've been in Lisbon for a few years now and have thoroughly fallen in love with the city. It's quite a change, but if anyone wants to explore the city while visiting, I'd be happy to show you the little I know and explore all the stuff I don't!

Filipe grew up in the city and in one of it's neighboring villages before spending over a decade abroad. He's newly back in town with me as we build our life here.

When we are traveling, we love to stay with hosts who are up to explore together, but we are also happy to keep ourselves entertained if you're busy. Most important is the chance for good conversation and the opportunity to make a new friend in a new place.

Of course, we are a gay couple, so if you aren't a friend of the queer community, we wish you the best, but kindly find somewhere else to stay, and feel free to decline our request if you're a host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The couchsurfing community has given me the chance to see much of the world through the generosity of hosts, and to know places I've never been by hosting some amazing people myself. I hope to give some fellow travelers a chance to learn this new city with me, and hope to get the chance to visit a few new locations myself.

Interests

We enjoy just about anything, from an evening in, to a night out on the town, from a walk in the park, to a trek through the wilderness, from a little trip, to a huge adventure.
