Hello! The way I would describe myself would probably be easy going, adventurous, kind, respectful, and I just love people. I have just finished 5 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, which in part shaped and molded me a lot into who I am today. I'm pretty cultured, and very open minded towards others beliefs and feelings, but still hold strong to my my own. I will start college this fall to get a degree in Global studies which I plan to use for missionary/ non-profit work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing ultimately to meet people, experience culture, make friends, and to allow longer travel stays while I'm not doing workaway.

I love anything Outdoors: backpacking, camping, fishing, bushcraft, surfing, mountain biking, and also making things with my hands like woodwork, and metalwork.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One great memory of mine was working on an elderly families farm in South Korea to help prepare the crop for the next year. To see the happiness and feel the love and excitement from the family was an awesome experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would very much love to learn the art of black smithing, as well more of carpentry. I am a martial arts instructor, a water survival instructor, non-lethal weapons instructor, and can teach many things that I have learned while being in the military, and also just from life experience.
