ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old teacher. I grew up in a small town, and definitely am a country boy at heart, but I love to travel and meet new people.
My location says Salem, but I actually live 15 miles east in Silverton, which is an awesome little farm town with tons going on for its size.
I want to spend a good chunk of the summer traveling the East Coast, particularly the South.

I have stayed on people's couches. I would host, but no one has ever asked me to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent about a week couch surfing two years ago. It was a great experience, and I met some cool friends. I would love to host someone.

Interests

Travel and meeting new people.
I love being outside. Hiking, biking, you name it. I also enjoy taking part in just about any sport, basketball and ultimate frisbee being two of my favorites.
I read a lot. Like talking politics, world events, and education.
More than anything I like spending time with friends and family.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Dickens and Dostoevsky. Any classical literature or history is good. Big fan of Family Guy and Arrested Development.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Grand Canal at night. Zip lining over a canyon in the Andes. Just about any summer night in Eastern Oregon.
