About Me

Sat Sri Akal 🌏

Current now : Surat, Gujarat 💫

Staying Place: 📍Wara talian , Algon Khurd, Tarn Taran - 143419
From Amritsar: 49km

Hello, I’m Gurbir Singh, originally from Wara Talian Algon Khurd, village in Tarn Taran, Panjaab. I’m passionate about sharing the rich culture, history and traditions of Punjab with travelers from around the world 🗺️

Panjaab has four main regions — Majha, Malwa, Doaba and Puwad. I specialize in guiding visitors through Majha, the heart of Sikh history 🪯 and Panjabi culture. I love showing the beauty of Panjabi villages🏠 where travelers can experience authentic homemade food 🥘 simple living and warm hospitality.

I often share stories about the Gurdwaras (Sikh temples) in Sur Singh and Patti, including the historical Gurdwara of Bahadur Baba Bidhichand Sahib Ji, whose life and devotion are deeply connected to Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the sixth Sikh Guru.

Alongside cultural tours, I enjoy teaching Panjabi language basics, from speaking to writing, drawing from my studies in spirituality and Panjabi heritage.

I’m also a traveler at heart, eager to explore the world, meet new people, and exchange stories and experiences.

Hola, I’m Cristina from Monterrey, Mexico 🇲🇽 and I’m a chef. I loves blending Mexican and Panjabi. Together, we enjoy cooking for guests and sharing the joy of food as a way to connect people and traditions.

While we currently traveling, I warmly invite visitors to explore Our village in Panjab whenever they can — it’s a place full of history, culture, love and heartfelt hospitality.

🇴🇲 and Nepal 🇳🇵 . Traveling and meeting new people fuels my curiosity and love for the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe the best journeys leave you with new knowledge and friendships. Here’s what I’d love to do with fellow travelers:

Teach: The beauty of Gurmukhi, the sacred Punjabi script ; let’s write your name in it!

Learn: Your travel stories, local phrases or life lessons. Where has life taken you?

Share: The core values of Sikhism : equality, seva (selfless service), Chardi Kala (positive spirit) : stories of the Gurus or even a homemade Punjabi paratha.

Travel, culture and learning go hand in hand, and I’m always excited to connect, exchange stories and create lasting memories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Want to try makki di roti cooked on an open flame? Curious why Sikhs serve free food worldwide? Ever heard of a 300-year-old library inside a Gurdwara? Let’s exchange stories over chai—I’ll bring the Punjabi warmth, and you bring the curiosity!
