ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going, friendly, creative guy originally from Scotland, but I've been all over. For the past year I was living and working in Barcelona as an English teacher, and since June I'e been in LA undertaking a screenwriting lab at James Franco's Studio4 lab.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Donnie Darko is one of my all time fav films and hard to beat, but I have so many favorites...Love independent and foreign cinema...Mean Creek, Brick, Pan's Labyrinth, All About my Mother, A Scanner Darkly, too many to list! Also a big horror fan (The Shining, Night of the Hunter, The Others).

For music, similarly, I love Pixies and find them hard to beat...but also love The Breeders, Nirvana, Jesus and Mary Chain, Broken Social Scene, The Dandy Warhols, Garbage, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Shins, Grizzly Bear, Metric...

Books...big Neil Gaiman fan, love Philip K.Dick, (mostly) like Stephen King....

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Cycling around New Zealand for 8 months when I was 18...I was completely unprepared, I had a crappy $30 bike, and at one point i got Hypothermia from cycling in the rain for 3 days straight....but It was an amazing experience I wouldn't trade for anything!
