ABOUT ME
You can find more about me at my homepage - http://theebgar.com
To summarize,
I am a doctoral student, that means I have little time for other stuff.
But I enjoy travelling, taking pictures, hanging out with friends, biking and walking along the river, cooking, and building websites.
The type of people I enjoy are who are open minded, who actually want to spend time with me, and hang out.
The rest, for you to find out.
PHILOSOPHY
I came across this quote in the second year of my undergrad and it changed my life, and has been the lighthouse for my life ever since!
'Tis the set of the sails,
And not the gales,
That tell us the way to go'
'Tis the set of a soul
That decides its goal,
And not the calm, or the strife'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to host, surf and meet people from different cultures, languages etc and share experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It cannot be a couch surfing experience, but indeed an amazing hospitality from a friend I had known for only a month. Better be read in full - http://theebgar.net/2009/on-a-snowy-sunday-from-logan-international/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I believe it is not the WHERE that maters, but with WHOM that matters. I love, enjoy and cherish the time I spent with amazing people. Striking conversations with homeless people, taking pictures of subway musicians and emailing them, listening to political activists, etc
Teach, Learn, Share
I am knowledgeable in Tech, IT, Gadgets
But I love to talk about places I travelled, I want to travel, people I met, etc
Also I am quite knowledgeable in geography, demography, world statistics, probably owing to my childhood friends and interests.
I would also love to converse on philosophy (minus politics and religion to some extent and sports if you are from New England)
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Sri Lanka, United States
