Overview
About Me
New to Couch Surfing. Spent many years wanting to travel, but always found an excuse not to. Now I have the perfect opportunity to travel during the winters, and hope to make the best of it. Looking to explore Europe (and maybe further afield eventually), improve my languages, and meet new people. Would love to host people where I live, but my accommodation isn't suitable - sorry!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking to make my limited resources stretch so that I can travel longer, and also meet new people with local knowledge.
Interests
I work in the restaurant and bar industry, so am always looking for new restaurants, pubs, bars etc. Especially trying new foods and drinks!
Love reading, especially Irish and American literature, comic books, and history and popular science books.
Love movies and pop culture in general - on my days off from work I'll often spend hours in front of Netflix etc.
Not an experienced hill walker / climber, but living in the Scottish Highlands at the moment, and previously in the Lake District, so it's something I am trying to do more of.
Like sports, especially football, and am keen to go and watch some matches live whilst I'm overseas.
And of course, I'm interested in travel - I'll be visiting various cities across Spain and Holland over the next month, and am hoping to extend my stay overseas throughout the winter, and get some travel ideas for next year.
