ABOUT ME

I love to travel, whether it be in my own back yard or around the world (just came back from a round the world trip). Seeing new things, learning languages and cultures, eating different types of foods, meeting new and interesting people I love it all. I'm quite shy and generally wouldn't approach people I don't know, and this seems a great way to meet new people and get to know new things.

I try to be a gentleman at all times and abhor angry and argumentative people or peeps who are way too pumped up all the time. I like a chilled out vibe and to go through the calm side of life with a smile. I'm open to answering any questions and would try my best to help other travellers have an awesome experience in this beautiful country :)

Be happy, spread love and good vibes, smile and relax. Get out of your comfort zone and get excited. You live once, I live once, try not to be scared to live it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love hosting and I love people from overseas.

I've just come back from a round the world trip and couch surfed with new people and some I've hosted before. It was all simply amazing!!

All up, I've hosted about 35-40 people, not including others I've travelled with or met up with through Couchsurfing. On my recent trip I was hosted by 2 groups I'd never met before, and 4 previous couch surfers (as well as a few friends). So I think I'm all up in this :)

The surfers have been mainly from Germany, but also England, Sweden Austria, Argentina, Canada, Italy, France, USA and Estonia. It would be hard to pick a favourite, out of the many guests I've had and I just can't do it as they have all been friendly and awesome and I've had at least 3 groups return for a night or four, with one group staying 4 separate times over 3 months :)

I've also now been hosted in Argentina, Brazil, Sweden, Estonia, Austria, and Germany. And honestly, they were amazing :)

Running of the Bulls in Spain. Thought my heart would explode after they lead the 7th bull into the ring . . .

Engineering, management, mathematics, travel (especially Aus) pretty dull I know :) but I've got a good level of knowledge in these fields.

I'd love to pick up some more German and Portuguese. Also I'd love to improve my cooking.

I'd simply like to share stories and experiences :) Oh, and music!

For hosts, I'd love to cook some Aussie stuff, or at least some of my favourites. I can sing pretty badly, dance even worse, but I love to make fun of myself. I'd love to share travel and other stories, and just get to know the host(s) in general.
