ABOUT ME

My work is in software engineering, but I have a great passion for the arts, especially classical music, singing, dance, and musical theater. I also have a great passion for my Italian culture. I have been to Italy about six times, and I never get tired of going back because there is always something new to see, even if I have visited the city before. Although I am a single, gay man, I like meeting all types of people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just signed up recently and went to my first group event locally. It was fun meeting some new people from the local area and here about some of their experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried bobsledding at the Olympic Park in Calgary. I had spent New Year's in Milan with a couple of some Italian friends that I met online in a gay Italian chat site, and had an incredible time (No, I did not "hook up" with anyone!, that's not my style) . I'm hoping I will meet up with them again this summer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning other dances from other cultures and am happy to share what I know about dancing. I had been thinking about learning to call contra dances and perhaps squares as well. I can try to show you some simple dances that I have learned over the years that I have learned. These are mostly group dances.
